Understanding Billing Cycles
Understanding how billing cycles work helps you manage your subscription effectively.
What is a Billing Cycle?
A billing cycle is the period between two consecutive billing dates. Most subscriptions are billed monthly or annually.
Billing Period
Your billing period:
- Starts when you subscribe or when your previous period ended
- Ends on your next billing date
- Is automatically renewed unless you cancel
Renewal Dates
Your subscription automatically renews on your renewal date:
- You'll be charged automatically on this date
- You'll receive an email notification before renewal
- The renewal date is shown in your billing settings
Proration
When you upgrade or downgrade your plan mid-cycle:
- Upgrades: You'll be charged a prorated amount for the remainder of the billing period
- Downgrades: The change takes effect at the end of your current billing period
- You'll see the prorated amount before confirming the change
Billing History
You can view your complete billing history:
- Go to Settings → Billing
- Click "Manage Billing"
- Navigate to "Billing History" or "Invoices"
- View and download past invoices

Payments are processed:
- Automatically on your billing date
- Using your default payment method
- Through our secure payment processor
